Movie Premier of Vedam Starring Allu Arjun and Anushka Shetty

Today Vedam the movie goes live in theaters as something of a surprise actually. The Telegu movie directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi, has actually been under-promoted compared with some contemporary Bollywood or Tollywood releases.

With music and lyrics by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Sahiti, ES Murthy, and Keeravani, the film promises colorful tunes and serious action, if nothing else. Vedam, though a little under the radar publicity wise, is a much awaited film possibly just because so little is known about it. The popularity of Allu Arjun, who plays the lead, also contributes to the action drama’s appeal.

Interestingly, or perhaps sadly, most of the reviews of the film make it sound as if it is a remake of “Larry the Cable Guy” describing only bits and pieces of the film. There is just that little out there in the way of promotion though. But, from the trailers it is easy to see scenes which are gripping, serious and action packed.

The film also stars Manchu Manoj Kumar, and Anushka Shetty, among the many others. Directed by Krish and produced by Devineni Prasad and Shobu Yarlagadda for Arka Entertainement, the film will also be released to US audiences according to what little press there is. Other stars include; Allu Arjun, Manoj, VJ turned actress Lekha Washington, Deeksha Seth, Manoj Bajpai, and Nagayya.

You can check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the film everyone is talking about today. It should be popular for the opening as there is something to be said for intrigue and leaving something to the imagination of the waiting audience. We apologize for so little information on the film, but reaching Arka Entertainment is a little like talking to Tibet. Let’s hope all their cash went into the making of. Whiz guys, all you had to do was mail me!
