Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Among other things, you will need jokes, games, quotes,  and other points of discussion to ease any tension left over from all that table talk.

Have some at hand with some Thanksgiving apps on your iPhone. There are plenty to chose from, so be sure and choose those your family and friends will enjoy sharing too. The only thing not currently made for the iPhone is apparently the all new leftover turkey sandwich app. (just kidding)

Thanksgiving Jokes: Free

From Dustin Kirk, this app is set up like the other flash card applications the developer has created. Only these are funny, and related to our favorite turkey holiday – Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Turkeynizer: $0.99

Create funny, customized Thanksgiving greetings with this inexpensive application. Send them to your friends and give everyone a chuckle.

Thanksgiving Recipes: $0.99

Making a last minute run to the grocery store for some turkey day ingredients? The Thanksgiving Recipes iPhone app can give you quick access to your favorite entree recipes to make that shopping list shrink pretty quick.

Thanksgiving: $0.99

Show your holiday smarts by throwing out a few fun Thanksgiving factoids. Nerdy, but entertaining nonetheless. You will be surprised at some of the holiday-related facts you will discover with this mobile application.

Thanksgiving Quiz: $0.99

Now that you’ve memorized all those Thanksgiving facts, test your knowledge with a Thanksgiving quiz. For each quiz question, the app will provide an anecdotal story to go along with the question, giving you some useful history alng with the fun.

Thanksgiving Match: Free

If your family isn’t entertaining enough, download the free Thanksgiving Match game on your phone. The basic match game is quick and entertaining enough to pass the time. Best of all, the iPhone is compact and lightweight enough to rest on that new belly you just grew.

My Thanksgiving: $1.99

Got an antsy child in the back seat of the car on the way to the in-laws’ house for Thanksgiving dinner? Pull up the My Thanksgiving book app. The interactive story tool gives the basics of our Thanksgiving tradition in a fun and educational manner.
