Sinclair & Co. has revealed that they are currently the agency of record for TransEnterix, an up and coming medical device company. The public relations company is working on an overall strategy to promote the company, as well as their latest product.

TransEnterix recently raised $21 million in Series A venture capital funding. With these funds, the company plans to launch SPIDER™, a revolutionary new system of doing abdominal surgeries. Rather than make several incisions or one large one, SPIDER™ allows surgeons to work through just one surgery port which leaves no visible scar. The benefits are many, including less chance of infection, better healing times and a faster recovery. With the help of some of the world’s best surgeons, TransEnterix has been working on the development of several technologies that could change the face of non-invasive surgeries.

Sinclair & Co. is a public relations company with over 20 years of experience in the world of promotion. While things have changed drastically since the PR firm was founded, the company has stayed on top of things and have many happy customers under their belt. They hope to make TransEnterix happy, as well.

The PR agency is responsible for the launch of SPIDER™ and is developing a publicity strategy that will be revealed as it is put into action. They are not only responsible for the launch, but will also be handling media relations, physician relations, as well as public marketing efforts and branding.
