S.I.R. Marketing Communications, Inc. has just made the announcement that they will be taking the position as the PR agency of record for the New York Institute of Photography. The public relations company will be handling everything from media relations to marketing campaigns.

“It’s especially humbling to work with New York Institute of Photography on the eve of their centennial celebration,” says Steven I. Rosenbaum, president of S.I.R. Marketing Communications, Inc. “For 100 years, NYIP has helped to set the standard for high quality photographic education. Countless generations of photographers, both professional and amateur, have turned to the New York Institute of Photography as the leading source for photography education.”

The New York Institute of Photography provides quality education for students of photography. The institute is looking forward to using 2010 as their year to expand and look at the thousands of students who have passed through their doors in 100 years of photographic education. The celebration should be impressive.

“2010 represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for NYIP to expand beyond its day-to-day role as photo-educators to reflect on all of the many thousands of students – past and present – that make this milestone so special,” said Chuck DeLaney, Director of the New York Institute of Photography. “I can think of no other agency that is better qualified to help us with this important task than S.I.R. Marketing Communications.”

S.I.R. Marketing is a public relations company that has provided its services to a number of companies, including JOBO AG, AsukaBook, Marketing Essentials International, Minolta Corporation, Photo Marketing Association International, Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, all photo or image based companies. Their experience in this area is quite extensive, so the PR firm should have no difficulties with helping the New York Institute of Photography build upon their brand.
