PR News invites companies and PR agencies to help recognize outstanding PR professionals in their teams by nominating them for the PR People Awards. This prestigious public relations competition is an opportunity for employers, be it businesses showcasing their in house talent of PR agencies promoting their best and brightest, to showcase their top talents, their innovative and passionate public relations experts that strive to make communications stay relevant in today’s marketplace.
The winners of the annual PR News’ PR People Awards are those who set the benchmark for future PR and surpass the great achievements of the previous year in the public relations field. Entries should be submitted by September 10, 2010 and are open to all communications, marketing and PR professionals working at for-profit and non-profit organizations including: corporations, PR firms, public affairs agencies, associations, nonprofits, publicity firms, government organizations, and independent/consulting firms; vendors/partners are also awarded in several Awards categories.
A panel of judges will review the 2009 achievements of each nominee, considering both overall achievements over a certain period of time and outstanding results for one-time campaigns. The PR News’ PR People Awards mean an inclusion in a quite competitive Hall of Fame for the PR industry and such a recognition could boost a career or kick-start one, that is why this year’s event has several categories reserved for students in the PR and Communications field.
The winners will be announced on November 30, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. They will also be profiled in the PR News All-Stars Special Issue released online.
