The release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode 1 was announced early this morning. When only speed and determination will do, Sonic’s latest adventures, dubbed “Project Needlemouse,” should re-engage fans.
Sega is offering what many term a “proper sequel” to the Genesis series Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The trailer below offers some clues as to what’s new in the world of hedgehogs. The trailer is a sort of sequential condensation of hedgehog history leading up to this latest iteration. The new high definition variant seems to offer all the addicting noises and actions of previous variants, along with somewhat more stunning graphics.
The new game will be offered for Xbox 360, Sony PS3, and Wii of course. Some methodology improvements appear to be integrated not only into the story line of Sonic 4 but into the idea of speed in general. Without giving away any secrets, Sonic’s capabilities adhere more now to the laws of physics than light an magic. Anyway, 2010′s Sonic offering will surely revive the little fellow’s following. Sonic the Hedgehog 4, catch him if you can.
