Blanchard Schaefer has just been hired by the Lone Star Film Society as the company’s PR agency. The film society has events throughout the year and Blanchard Schaefer will be doing the promotion for these year round. The PR firm is also responsible for the promotion surrounding the society’s biggest event, the Lone Star International Film Festival, which is to be held at Sundance Square, downtown Fort Worth, Texas on Nov. 11-15, 2009.

The Lone Star Film Society presents film work both past and present in the state of Mexico, in an attempt to promote the love of good filmmaking. They have featured such film greats as Martin Sheen, Fred Durst, Sidney Lumet, Melonie Diaz, and Bill Paxton, among others, at their Lone Star International Film Festival. The company works to preserve moving art and has been quite successful in managing year round events to get the community interested and encourage filmmaking in the Lone Star state.

Blanchard Schaefer is an active public relations firm that has won awards for their strategies in PR. With a focus on several specific industries, including healthcare, technology verticals, supply chain and logistics, multi-location/franchise, and health and beauty, the firm has worked with a number of agencies across the US.
