Crista Flanagan, star of the popular AMC drama “Mad Men” looks like the most recent Playboy pin up super trend. Flanagan stays consistent to thematic as the new Playboy spread mimics Mad Men’s 60′s look. Inconsistent with her character roles, Flanagan now gets to show her other side, and lot of it from the look of things.
According to all the news, Flanagan takes up two covers of the August issues of Playboy. In center, Flanagan continues on her new escapade with the “60′s” thing bringing forth melancholy moments from old time Playboy fans. Ads to poses, this issue of Playboy should be interesting for many reasons, not the least of which is Flanagan after Playboy gets done with her.
Whether Hugh Hefner went all reflective or not is a matter for conjecture. One thing is sure, no one expected Flanagan on or in Playboy. She seems pretty atypical for most to even conceive of the idea, even Flanagan seemed shocked from her interviews. Well, it just goes to show, you don’t have to be Marilyn Monroe to bless the pages of Playboy. Old Hugh would be the first to tell anyone, “beauty is as much about personality as it is glamor,” at least I think he said that once? Maybe it is time the world went retro, modern does get boring.
