Amazon Begins Its Black Friday Deals Week Monday November 23, 2009

amazon black friday deals bannerAmazon announced today the beginning of its Black Friday Deals Week on Monday, November 23, 2009. During this week, Amazon associates can earn up to 15% commission and Amazon customers will find amazing deals on a page exclusively designed to feature Black Friday bargains. This page is the central point to find all Amazon and Endless.com Black Friday deals.

To power the campaign, Amazon encourages its associates to spread the word, on personal sites, business sites and via Twitter – a smart PR campaign, that proves once again why Amazon is one of the most successful online retailers. Amazon Associates is now directly integrated with Twitter via its “Site Stripe.” When logged in, Amazon users can see the Site Stripe at the top of every Amazon page. The stripe provides the tools for building links, adding products to aStore and even seeing reports. For associates the Site Stripe is a convenient alternative to using some of the other Associate Central linking and reporting tools. With the Twitter button a new window will open and an Amazon-generated message will show in the Twitter updates box. That message will include a shortened URL that already includes the associate’s Amazon ID. Users may edit this message or simply hit the ‘Update’ button to post to their Twitter accounts.
