Mihaela, thanks for including us in the list! It’s a great collection by the way, enjoying the list. All the best!
Great list.
Mihaela, may I know the list is selected out of how many startup for each or overall category?
Hi Chee – basically as many quality ones as I could find for the English speaking readers. There were so many others, even cooler, but in German, Italian, Spanish and other languages. What a pity that they don’t provide an English version when they launch. For example, I have about 60 startups for the Media Monitoring category (still not published), and many are German startups with no translation. Anyway, I will only pick ten for each category. I usually collect all startups from the beginning of the year in excel format and monitor their media moves and success. Some I review at EPR if I find them particularly useful. Others just get a mention. If you know any startups that were not mentioned, please let me know.
A good social media analytics to monitor google or google+, facebook, twitter is http://www.socialwatching.com. You can have a free brand evolution report from search.socialwatching.com.
Elizabeth, please don’t live under the impression that our readers haven’t noticed your first comment about socialwatching. They have. Once again: all the businesses listed here were launched end 2010, and in 2011. Your business was launched in 2009. Besides I’ve already checked your site, and tested the “database search” and I honestly don’t see the value compared to many of your competitors. Maybe you should explain the real advantages for potential customers, instead of spamming sites with links to your service?
Great collection! One you might have missed, or not seen yet: egoarchive.com. It’s saved my @$$ a few times. Great product.
Jack, thank you for the suggestion. I’ll take a look at it, and maybe feature it another time.
